CD and DVD Printing and Duplication

• Digital direct inkjet printing on discs.
This technology allows full-color printing with photorealistic quality directly on printable CD-R or DVD-R discs. To prevent scratching or damaging the print, discs are always coated with UV lacquer.
• Offset printing on discs.
Standard full-color offset printing using a specialized offset press for discs with a silver base.

• Duplicating (recording via burners) - suitable for runs up to 500 pcs.
Simultaneous synchronized recording of identical content on a large number of recordable discs. The recording is performed from a master disc using a Disk Duplicator System Tower.
• Replication (matrix recording) - suitable for runs over 500 pcs.
A matrix is created from the master disc, which is used to mold the disc plates. Subsequently, they are metallized and lacquered.

The main master disc from which disc replication is performed. The information files are organized, classified, and named according to how they will be recorded onto the discs.

Virtual master disc, without a physical medium, containing the structure and files of the master disc.

Types of master discs
• Data CD/DVD – Records information in all possible file formats, organized and named in folders.
• Audio CD – Music files arranged in tracks, used for replicating music albums for playback on audio systems.
• Video DVD – Video files processed with specialized software, used for replicating movies for playback on DVD players.

If you cannot create the master disc yourself, we can create it for a fee.
Data CD/DVD
Records information in all possible file formats, organized and named in folders.
• Provide files organized and named in folders as you want them recorded.
• Provide the disc name to be displayed on startup.
Audio CD
Music files arranged in tracks for replicating music albums for playback on audio systems.
For creating the master disc, we need audio files and a text file containing:
• Album title (in Latin letters);
• Track names (in Latin letters);
• Artist name (in Latin letters);
Additionally for producers:
• ISRC code - for tracks
• UPC code - for album
Video DVD
Video files processed with specialized software for replicating movies for DVD players.
• Provide video files with instructions on how they should be displayed.
• Provide backgrounds and texts for the video menu.

• Resolution: 300dpi (300 dots per inch);
• Color: CMYK; Black text: K=100%;
• Solid black (composite): CMYK = 35%; 35%; 35%; 100%;
• Size: 118 mm;
• Texts: Convert to curves;
• Hole alignment: 22 mm - no cutting;
• Additional margin: Place texts and graphic elements at least 3 mm from the disc edge;
• Line thickness: Minimum 0.25pt / 0.07 mm;

• .PDF - Acrobat
• .TIF - with LZW compression, layers removed
• .JPEG - Quality 10 to 12, resolution 300 dpi
• .EPS - fonts converted to curves
• .CDR - CorelDRAW, fonts converted to curves
• .AI - Adobe Illustrator
